Mrs Susan Cartwright
'Miss Susan' began dancing at Daniels Dancing Academy at the age of 5 passing her grade & medals tests in Ballet, Tap, Theatrecraft and Freestyle before leaving to get married. In 2006 she returned to dancing following the birth of her daughter and performed in 'Pinocchio' at the College Theatre. She soon settled into preparing for her first level of teaching exams in tap and passed her Pre-Associate in the Summer with 88 Highly Commended.
Susan has coached many classes towards exams and has a good rapport with the younger pupils. She now says that the nerves are for her daughter as she now enters Ballet, Tap, Freestyle & Gymnastic exams but she is so proud to see her following in her footsteps! Susan now has an addition to her family and we hope that Thomas will also tread the boards, perhaps following in his Uncle Steven's footsteps, who was also a pupil at the school!
In her spare time Susan runs the 10th Rainbow and Brownie group in Kenilworth. She also choreographs for Kenilworth Gang show and ... keeping it in the family, Mum, Denise, prepares the lunches on exam days and helps with Wardobe for Academy productions.
Miss Susan is also preparing to take more teaching exams.
