'Miss Joan' studied Ballet, Tap, Modern & Acro in Great Yarmouth from the age of 5. She specialised in Gymnastics whilst at University from which she graduated with an Engineering degree. She joined Daniels Dancing Academy in 1990 and danced lead roles in many productions as well as taking exams in Ballet, Tap & Theatrecraft. She was a member of my senior dance group in Three Spire's Production of 'Dick Whittington'. She left us for a period of 3 years to work for Peugot in France but then returned and trained for her teachers exam. She passed her Pre-Associate Ballet with the highest grade awarded and went on to take a degree in Health and Safety at Peugeot. Miss Joan takes Ballet & Freestyle classes and has received many high results from pupils entering exams in both these subjects. In the last school production of 'Pinocchio' Miss Joan produced some delightful choreography and also played the part of the all singing, all dancing, all acting Blue Fairy.

When she is not dancing, she enjoys singing and is a member of the Coventry Savoy Opera Group. She has played lead roles in their Gilbert & Sullivan productions of 'Iolanthe', 'The Pirates of Penzance', 'Ruddigore', 'The Gondaliers' and 'H.M.S. Pinafore'.

She is now Secretary for the Opera Group.

Although she now works for Aston martin she continues to teach at the school and take more exams.
