End of Term Spring 2012

Dear Parents,

The Spring term ends Thursday 29th March. Parents are invited to watch the Miss Lauren’s Saturday Ballet classes & Miss Frankie’s Tap only.

The Summer term commences Monday 16th April. Exams sessions are booked for Wed 23rd May and Sat 23rd June. All dates have been displayed on the website throughout this term. Please regularly check the Calendar.

The timetable remains largely the same just a few alterations to times. Miss Lauren will continue to take Teeny Tots Bounce & Bop and Miss Francesca will take the Beginners Tap as I am having to cut back on my teaching at present on medical advice.

Miss Helen & Miss Susan will be taking a break when they both have their babies. All classes will be covered. We wish them a happy time ahead.

May I draw your attention to the Uniform & Code of Conduct displayed on the website. Some pupils are still turning up wearing unsuitable attire for dancing and hair must be tied back off the face at all times. Parents please see that you tidy your daughters hair & always equip them with hairgrips & other grooming tools in their dance bags. They are all quite old enough to tidy their own hair. Arriving no later than 15mins is for preparing for class & warming up NOT sitting talking in the side room!

Please check tap shoes. There have been many shoes with heel taps fitted incorrectly. These screws have now permanently damaged the expensive flooring. If you are unsure about fitting the screws please see me or Miss Lauren.

DRAMA CONCERT & PRIZEGIVING  URC Church Sunday 13th May at 3pm.
The prize-winners will be presented their awards officially. With 150 seats only in the church I will be offering the seats to Prize-winners families & Drama classes first. Please email me your tickets requests as it will be first come first served. Any seats remaining after Sat 28th April will be offered to any-one wishing to come.

CARNIVAL
Following the meeting on Saturday 10th March there are only 10 places left if wish to particpate. I must adult help also to construct t& decoarte the float.
